Exotic South Kerala [6 Nights 7 Days]
Cochin – Munnar – Thekkady – Kumarakom – Alleppey – Kovalam – Trivandrum

Day 1 : Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Meet and assistance at the airport/ railway station, Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the Day is free for you to explore the City of Cochin. Cochin is the commercial Capital of Kerala.

The attractions are:-

Jewish Synagogue
Mattancherry Palace
Chinese Fishing Nets etc.

Overnight stay at a Hotel at Cochin.

Day 2 : Cochin to Munnar (135Km/ 4hrs approx)
After an early breakfast. Depart for Munnar. While traveling from Cochin to Munnar, enjoy the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams. Situated at 1600 meter above sea level this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in the blue every twelve years. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi, which towers over 2695 mtrs. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. On Arrive at Munnar, check in at hotel at Munnar. Rest of the Day is free for you to explore Munnar. Overnight stay at hotel at Munnar.

Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady (110 Km/ 4hrs approx)
After an early Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for Thekkady (110Km, 4 Hrs) Check in at hotel. Journey from Munnar to Thekkady is a drive through tea estates, spice gardens and wild forests. This is memorable drive of approx. 4 hours. Check in at hotel at Kumali and in the evening visit Kumali market. Kumali is known for its Spices & Wildlife Sanctuary. Boat ride through the lake at Periyar Wild Life sanctuary. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 4 : Thekkady to Kumarakom (135Km / 4Hrs approx)
After breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Kumarakom (135Km, 4Hrs.) Kumarakom - Alleppey (By House Boat). On arrival at Kumarakom, Check in to a Houseboat for Cruise till 6 in the evening. Overnight stay at Houseboat.
House boat is for a cruise through the unique back waters of Kerala. Cruise through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk. Relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind and waves. This mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its charm. Unwind yourself, watching the endless strips of greenery passing by and the emerald green waters meet the crystal blue sky, whilst the houseboat cruises in a relaxing pace. This would be an experience, which you would always cherish to remember. Cruise till 6 in the evening by when the houseboat halts in the lake for overnight stay. (Next day in the morning cruising starts at 7 am) House Boat will be your transportation for the day and accommodation for the night

Day 5 : Alleppey to Kovalam (175Km/4Hrs approx)
Breakfast at House Boat. Disembark the House Boat at Alleppey Drive to Kovalam (175 km, 4 hrs) on the way to Kovalam you will pass through the Capital of Kerala, Trivandrum the take a tour around City. Check in to a Hotel at Kovalam rest of the day at leisure at the Kovalam beach. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach destination of Kerala, with three adjacent crescent beaches. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful Bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programs, Catamaran cruising etc. En route to Kovalam. You can also spend your time for purchasing curios. Rest of the day at leisure at the beach. If interested, you can indulge yourself in a soothing and rejuvenating Ayurvedic general body massage (optional). Overnight at Kovalam

Day 6 : Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam (100 Km 2 ½ Hrs approx)
After Breakfast, Proceed to Kanyakumari (Cape Comorine). Kovalam Cape (Kanyakumari) is the southern most tip of India. En route, visit Padmanabhapuram Palace & Sucheendram Temple. Visit Gandhi Memorial, Boating to Vivekananda Rock and watch the Tiruvalluvar statue. In the evening, after watching a majestic sunset, Return to Kovalam. Overnight at hotel at Kovalam.

Day 7 : Trivandrum
Departure to Trivandrum after Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Trivandrum International Airport / Railway Station for your Flight/Train to onward destination.
